The Example Paragraph of Interpreting Idea

THE EXAMPLE PARAGRAPH OF INTERPRETING IDEA

The background when I post about compound sentence, because I want to inform of other it has at least two independent clauses joined by a comma, a semicolon or conjunction. The coordinators of independent clauses are: FANBOYS. For, And, Not, But, Or, Yet, So. For the first example is Aisyah waited for the bus, but the bus was late. In this sentence the coordinator but shows a clear relationship between the two independent clauses. Also, without the coordinator but, the writing is choppy and the meaning less clear: Aisyah waited for the bus. The bus was late.

The second examples are Mulan and Samuel left on the bus before I arrived, so I did not see them at the bus station. From that example we know that So is a coordinator to connected between two independent clauses. So I think so far after you read my post. There are difficult time when your lecture or your student ask about compound sentence. Let’s practice it by write down by your own word to help remind your material today. Thanks for reading guys !
